Halo digital goniometer

Hand-held accuracy for physiotherapists

Physiotherapist Hayley Warren approached us to update the traditional goniometer – a tool used to measure joint angles – bringing the centuries-old tool into the 21st century.

We developed Halo, a compact using a handheld digital device that measures and records data using a three-axis laser system. Its first batch of 500 units sold out within six weeks and propelled Hayley’s business into further backing, earning her the prestigious Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award.

“It took me less than 3 minutes to realize that this device is perfect for my four practices in New York and Washington DC. Our ROM measurements are significantly more consistent amongst clinical staff.”

Marty Jaramillo, PT, Sports Physical Therapist, CEO and founder of I.C.E Sports Therapy

“The biggest advantage of using HALO is our clients love having a quantitative accurate measure, pre and post their treatment plan. It is certainly an impressive tool that will enhance all health professions for years to come.”

Mr Scott Wescombe, Director iPhysio, Australia
